The combination of many small and thin parts of iron demands a skilled hand to make the assembling and welding around the glass parts. The imperfect joints and welding are matching perfectly with the handcrafted, rustic look we try to create with these items.

When using the lanterns outdoor, they will over time become coated with verdigris, a kind of greyish rusty patina.
